BEHIND THE SCENES: VILLA DINNER FOR TWELVE
Ceviche is a celebration of freshness.
Every private dinner is a story waiting to be told.
This one began with a call for a villa dinner for twelve, and ended as an evening where food, people, and place came together in harmony.
Planning the menu: I started by speaking with the host about the occasion and their preferences. From there, I designed a four-course menu that felt celebratory but also relaxed, the kind of dinner where conversation flows naturally.
Sourcing ingredients: I visited local markets for fresh seafood and seasonal produce. It’s important to me that every dish reflects not only technique, but also the flavors of baja california sur.
Setting the table: Presentation is as important as taste. We set the table with simple elegance, neutral linens, candlelight, and flowers that matched the villa’s style.
The experience itself: As guests arrived, drinks were served poolside while the kitchen filled with the aroma of searing seafood. the night unfolded in courses, laughter, and moments that felt effortless, though every detail had been carefully prepared.
